Compare to my Joola 3S Dual Perseus, it feels lighter but has more power and grit.
I think the sweet spot is also bigger which makes it really easy to play with.
Hope this quality can last at least a year.

I got this paddle to upgrade from a cheap paddle I got off Amazon that had a grip that was giving me golfers elbow. This paddle not only has a great grip that absorbs vibration, but it also has a lot of pop and power that you see in $200+ paddle.

It also looks super cool and unique and I get lots of compliments on it. Super excited to play with this for the foreseeable future as my main paddle.

NOTE: I'm writing this review as someone that has now broken in his Luzz Cannon (15hrs of nonstop play).

Title. I bought these on a whim after watching a BUNCH of reviews of the Cannon on YT. I myself have a Jool IV, Agassi, Gearbox GX2 Power hybrid, Boomstick, and BnB Loco. The Cannon can hang with all of these, no question. Is it as powerful as the boomstick? No, but we're talking about 2 completely different generations here. However, The Cannon is 100% more powerful, more pop-y, and has more grit (WAY more) and more control than the Joola IV. The Cannon is what you get when your Joola IV has been taking steroids. It's crazy to me because the Joola is literally THREE TIMES the price of the cannon, yet somehow the latter plays significantly better by EVERY metric. I'm in love with this paddle. Despite loving my boomstick and Loco, i find myself reaching for the Cannon more.

If i had to be critical, i would say that the Luzz Cannon does come QUITE stiff, and TOO pop-y straight out of the box. You NEED to break this paddle in before reaping the full benefits of this Gen 3. You will probably not like it out of the box, but results may vary. A friend of mine whom I recommended this paddle to LOVED this paddle out of the box, so it really depends on the person.

You can play with the Cannon without added weight (unlike the Joola IV). It's powerful and heavy enough out of the box that you don't NEED to add weight. But, for those like me that love a heavy paddle, I'd highly suggest 4-5g each on both sides. I did it with .5" per gram tungsten tape. I also applied 3g of tungsten tape on the 12 o clock position of the paddle for a top heavy feel, which i like. Again, weight is not needed, but feel free to copy my set up if you like heavy paddles.

There's a bit of a learning curve if you're used to a Joola IV. Take the time to understand how much power is needed to get the most out of the Cannon. It forces you to be very conscious of how you're striking the ball. If you're not wary, your ball will fly. Just like a hit from a boomstick.

For $90 or so, there's not contest. This is the paddle you need to get if you like the elongated shape. I'd even hazard to say that this is THE best Gen 3 elongated paddle out on the market, period. Just try it for yourself. I promise you i'm not being hyperbolic.

The paddle's performance for control and power surprised me. With the price, it is great value for money!

I love the Kung Fu Panda Paddle. It can bang, and have awesome grit, which enables spinning easily. If the shipping to Hawaii wasn't so expensive, I would have bought another one already.
