This paddle exemplifies a solid Gen 3 construction paddle. It has exceptional power, spin and control. It’s not the prettiest paddle out there, but for playability, it’s top notch at any price. For the cost of this paddle, it’s difficult to beat.
My only wish was for a thinner paddle offering. Although this paddle has a feel of a 14mm, a lower swing weight paddle would be a welcome addition.

I did not expect to enjoy this paddle as much as I do. It lives up to it's name and is certainly a canon. But yet once dialed in it is easy to control. Not only is it the best $100 paddle out there. It is a top 10 paddle.... Period... It really is that good

Great value for a gen 3 paddle. Amazing feel, good power and spin. I added weight at 3 and 9 and it not only increased sweet spot but also changed the tone making it louder and deeper sound.

My main is the Owl paddle...mostly because I have a busted ear drum and noise drives me nuts. It has a lot of spin and is excellent in the soft game arena, but not much pop or power. Granted I can generate plenty of power on my own, but shorter swings have become a necessity at higher level play. On my journey to 4.5 level I've started to need/want more power and pop, so I've been trying different paddles. Nothing has suited me until the Cannon arrived...Gearbox, Joola, Honolulu, CRBN, RPM, Apes, Volair, and several others have not done it for me. The Cannon is loud, but so is everything else compared to the Owl. But, the Cannon has the soft game credentials I've been looking for with the power and pop...controllable power and pop. The first match I played with the Cannon secured its spot as my new main. My wife has mained a Joola Pro IV Perseus and once she tried the Cannon, she told me to order another one because she was taking it as her main. On top of how well it plays, the value is ridiculously good. We have even ordered a back up in case we loose or damage one of ours...we play 5-7 days per week so being without a paddle would ruin us.

I've been playing with the Luzz Canon for about three weeks now, playing 3-4 sessions a week, and I'm genuinely impressed. This paddle offers a level of performance that completely belies its price point, making it an absolute steal in the current market.

Performance and Feel:
What immediately stands out is the exceptional touch. I previously played with the Joola Perseus 4 (16mm), and the Luzz Canon actually offers a noticeable improvement in feel around the net. My dinks and resets feel softer and more controllable, allowing me to execute finesse shots with higher confidence.

This increase in touch doesn't come at the expense of necessary power. When I need to drive the ball or put away an overhead or speed-up, the Luzz Canon still provides ample pop to finish the point. It’s a fantastic middle-ground paddle for players who value control but demand the ability to attack when the opportunity arises.

Customization and Durability:
A slight customization I added was placing weights on the bottom corners, which really helped to expand the sweet spot and stabilize the paddle during fast exchanges. For anyone looking to fine-tune the feel, this modification is highly recommended.

After consistent use over three weeks, I've had zero signs of core crushing, which is a great early indicator of solid build quality. Given the price, the durability seems excellent so far.

If you're looking for a high-performing paddle that offers better feel than many premium brands—while still retaining put-away power—you cannot beat the Luzz Canon for the price. It's a fantastic choice for competitive players looking for incredible value.
